 EARN MONEY FROM THE INTERNET

Although most ideas for earning from the Internet require you to have your own website, there are many ways to earn without one. Below are a few ideas.

If you'd like to get paid for providing content on websites, be it reviews, reports or other information click here

Get paid to visit websites

Galactic Gold is a "Get-Paid-To" program where they hide items (with a cash value). After each site you visit you get to search the galaxy for hidden treasure, and might find cash or gold or silver(exchangeable for cash) or credits for showing websites and banners on the site. You also earn credits for each site you visit. Minimum 30 site visits a day or more if you find a black hole and go back in time, or if you upgrade. Cash payments for each referral, plus a percentage of their earnings. Cash out through e-gold or paypal.

Another similar site is Treasure Surfers with the added benefit of being able to search for treasure 15 times a day with free membership, or more for upgrades. Finds appear higher with this site eg finds of 10 gold pieces or 5 cents are not uncommon. Payout through E-Gold or Paypal.

If you think you can get a few referrals take a look at Traffic Battle which offers 500 website credits AND 10 cents when someone in your down line (1st Level) surfs 100 pages. Like those mentioned above, TrafficBattle.com is a "Get-Paid-To" website where you play the part of a person in search for gold and valuable resources, this time in various castles and strongholds. You can find Gold Coins, Cash and lots more in various sizes by going from Castle to Castle and Battle to Battle. 30 visits per day with 3 Referral surf earning levels. Upgrade to increase the number of daily visits and referral levels and the value of each piece of gold. Payouts through Paypal, Stormpay or e-gold.

Market Research

Sign up with the following companies and get paid, in cash or points, for completing surveys:

globaltestmarket

GlobalTestMarket has a very active survey division and requires participants worldwide over the age of 14. The views of those under 14 may be sought but the invitation will go to the parent for the child to complete.

You earn "marketpoints" each time you respond to a survey request - the closer you fit the demographics for the survey, the higher the points earned but you'll always earn 2 or 3 even if you don't qualify at all. A typical survey of 30 questions that takes approximately 12 minutes to complete will earn 60 to 80 MarketPoints. You can also earn extra points when you refer others. Each point is worth $0.05 and you need 1000 points to qualify for payment by cheque.

They seem to be fairly active. I'm receiving at least 2 or 3 surveys every week at present. For full details and registration form, visit GlobalTestMarket

Contrary to appearances suggested by the name, American Consumer Opinion™ is made up of consumers worldwide who have agreed to participate in surveys over the Internet. Occasionally, these consumers are asked to participate in mail surveys or telephone surveys, but generally the surveys are all conducted over the Internet.

As a panel member, you will participate in several surveys a year, typically. The average survey will take 10 minutes or so to complete, and the questions are usually easy to answer.

Panel members can expect to receive a "screener" (a short questionnaire) every six weeks or so.

All registered members participate in a monthly drawing to win cash awards, just for being a member.

If you answer a screener (a short questionnaire), you will be entered into a drawing for cash awards and when you participate in a survey (a longer questionnaire), you will always receive some type of incentive in the form of a free product to test, cash, a check, or a gift.

I've received several payments from this company. Payment will either be made by a check in your local currency or US$ American Express Travel Checks that are easily exchangeable worldwide for cash or shop purchases.

GET PAID FOR YOUR KNOWLEDGE

Keen.comUnlike the other sites where you post your replies or reports, Keen operates a telephone service where you state your expertise and then get paid when somebody telephones you to discuss the topic and obtain your advice. The call revenue is split between you and the company so obviously there is more potential to make money here if you are happy to chat to people. If you'd rather not have people phoning you up, there is also the option to record a message instead, or provide a standard text report.

UK version just launched. Keen.co.uk

The following sites all work along similar lines and are available worldwide. People post questions they want answered and either state the price they are prepared to pay or request bids. You then offer to respond and if selected receive the sum agreed less any commission charged by the site who deal with all payment administration. You will often by required to show evidence of your expertise by detailing your relevant skills.

Obviously in all cases you can use the sites to obtain answers to your own questions. You sometimes receive a few dollars towards your first questions.

HotDispatch - technical expertise only for computer programmers. Work can vary from simple questions to more complex projects.

Infomarkets.com - cash payments for answering questions subject to acceptance of your expert status based on your education and/or relevant experience - state your rates and pay 20% commission to the company.

IntellectExchange - cash payments for senior professional business users only

Resource-a-day.com

One of my favourite newsletters, Resource a day is a great daily newsletter with

  • an internet resource of the day
  • quotation of the day
  • trivia question of the day
  • joke of the day

They only have a couple of ads in each issue and these are generally for useful sites, not the internet get rich quick schemes you usually see advertised.

Worth signing up in its own right, but you can also earn money. Get $10 for signing up and 40c for everyone who signs up through you, plus 20c on their referrals, 5c on level 3 and 3c on level 4.

cashic.com
Simply visit their site each day to see what offers they have available (generally visit a site and/or register for a service) for you to earn points, which are exchangeable for $ at the end of each month. Available worldwide, plus 4 levels of referrals providing you complete at least 10 actions a month.
