If you're a student of the internet in any way shape or form, you've come across this wonderful piece of information, right? The sales pitches are slicker than a banana peel in the middle of an ice rink. These sales pitches will make it seem like breathing is difficult when compared to using whatever the hell information these weasels are selling. And for some reason, when said information is delivered electronically, it's about three times as valuable as a printed book. How is this possible? There are no printing costs. No shipping costs. No costs associated with having a bookstore, yet many times an E-book costs twenty to forty dollars! Does this seem the least bit normal? It seems to me an E-book, which is prepared without the cost mentioned earlier, should cost between five and ten bucks. But this doesn't seem to be the case with many people selling E-books on the internet today. No, their information is that much more valuable (they would tell you), but the problem is that this is rarely true.
I've purchased and read many of the E-books out there, and there is little difference between them and any book about the same subject that you could purchase in a bookstore, or check out from the library for free, other than their inflated price. What's different is the marketing, and as I said these weasels are good. They can write copy that would literally sell an ice maker to an Eskimo. Not only this, but they make claims about their earnings that are as exaggerated as the price of their information.
So is it possible to write an E-book and make a ton of money? Of course it is, anything's possible, although I would just suggest that you try your best not to buy into the hype. Remember: an E-book is the same as any other book other than the fact that it's delivered electronically, and in almost all cases has many fewer pages than most books you've come in contact with. Contrary to the opinion of the weasels selling E-books on 'how to make money with e-books', having the letter "E" in front of the word book makes it no different than any other bound piece of information.
If you're interested in making a ton of money selling e-books, I wish you luck, just remember what your mother told you when it comes to e-book information. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. As much as you might hater to admit it, Mom was right on that occasion. Especially when it comes to much of the information on e-books floating around on the ocean we all like to call the 'internet'.
